In cabal Online when you reach level 50 you will be given a quest in port lux which will allow you to craft items. after completing the you will be given a choice which transmuter you want to have.(a transmuter is an item which will allow you to craft an item) there are a few transmuter to choose from. each transmuter allows you to craft a different item. i.e an artifact transmiter allows you to craft accessories, crystals and orbs.

Transmuter:

Now after competing the quest and deciding what item you want to craft. crafting is easy you just need to gather all the materials needed on the item you want to craft. to find out what items are needed. first press ‘c’ for your character window then click on the ’prof.craft’ tab. the items you can craft is in yellow. items with red names are the items you cant craft yet… you need exp to craft i.e you need 20%exp to craft an adept citrin orb.

Everytime you successfuly craft an item your crafting exp goes up.

Materials. its easy to find materials you just need to destroy items. think of it as dissasembling something to get the thing you need. to destroy items simply right click on the transmuter then click on the item you want to destroy. i.e destroying a citrin orb will give you Quarts Core(citrin) and destroying an aqua orb will give you Quarts Core (aqua) etc. same goes with weapons and armors.

After Clicking this message will appear saying what items you will recive if you destroy the item:

Now simply click ‘Recive all’ to recive the item.

Same goes with weapons and armors.

Level 1 disk can be purchased from Yerte(core alchemist) at port lux. and level 1 shape cartrage can be purchased at any core alchemist. level 2 above disks and cartrages are droped by monster.

Now that you gathered all the materials needed simply click ‘Item Craft’

A message will appear if you have successfuly crafted the item or failed. (yes crafting can fail)

Now if you want to craft higher level items i.e blustin you need to reach 100% craft exp and you need to complete a quest from Yerte(core alchemist) at port lux. she will ask you to craft something. after completing the quest she will give you a C.A licence which will alow you to craft the next level items.

Lastly the stats of the item you craft is random. i.e you can get a +2 or +3 adept citrin orb randomly a +2 citrin orb of adept has a +3 skill exp while a +3 citrin orb of adept has +4 skill exp. a citrin orb of adept that has no + will have a +2 or +1 skill exp. same goes with all the items you craft. depending on what type it is. i.e deathblow, destruction etc.

I first heard about how to make fire from ice on the tv show Mythbusters on discovery channel and it facinated me. i never imagined it could be done. the first though that went through my head when i heard ‘making fire from ice’ was rubbing two ice cubes together to make a fire hahaha. i found this guide online its realy neat. hoping to try this when i find a big enough block of ice ^_^

Starting a Fire with an Ice lence

Use clear lake or pond ice. To practice, boil water for 10 minutes to remove gas. Let it cool, then boil 10 minutes again. Let it cool again, then freeze slowly.
Create a foil container 2" deep and freeze slowly. Or buy a clear block of ice. To make fire, the ice must be clear.

Shape the ice lens for fire making. First shave with a knife to get the rough shape of a lens

You can also grind your ice fire lens on cement or a stone.

Finish shaping your ice fire lens by using the heat of your hand to melt the ice lens smooth.

The edge of your lens should look something like this.

Locate tinder that is completely dry and finely divided. With the sun at its highest in the sky hold your lens perpendicular to the sun and move it up and down to focus the brightest spot of light onto your tinder. Be careful to avoid dripping water onto your tinder. The tinder will first smoke and then ignite. Carefully add more tinder and very small sticks until a good fire is established.

In Cabal Online Upgrade Cores are items used to upgrade or enhance your items attributes. it adds +’s to your items. in armor it adds defence and defence rate(evation) and in weapons it adds attack, attack rate(accuracy), and magic(magic attack) using an upgrade core also increases the stat requirement of your item so be careful. +1 to +3 is safe it will not fail (upgrading can fail) if you fail to upgrade to +4 it will stay at +3 if you fail to upgrade to +5 it will go back to +4 basicaly if you fail to upgrade to +4 to +6 you will get a -1 upgrade on your item i.e if i have a +5 item and i want to upgrade it to +6 and i failed it will go back to a +4 (-1 upgrade) but if you have a +6 item and you want to upgrade it to a +7 if you fail it will go back down to a +0 *sob*. +9 is the highest upgrade you can have. failing to upgrade to +8 or +9 will break/destroy your item.  if your not filthy rich stick with a +5 or +6.

Now how to upgrade:

First have your upgrading core in your inventory and the item you want to upgrade(if your wearing the item you want to upgrade. take it off)

next right click on the upgrade core

Your mouse curser will change its apperance. Now move your curser over to the item you want to upgrade.

Now notice the before and after stats of your item notice that the stat requirement will also change when you upgrade.

Now simply click to upgrade.

This message will appear click ok to continue upgrade

If succesful a message will appear on the upper part of your screen

There you go you have upgraded your item

Force Cores: Force cores are different from upgrade cores. they are used on slotted items (slotted items are items with a little blue box) and they add a special upgrade i.e +50hp or +10% critical damage. to upgrade using Force Cores go to the Core Alchemist anc click upgrade.

The item slot is where you put your slotted item you want to upgrade. the core slot is where you put your Force cores(you can put up to 3 cores) the catalyst is where you put another slotted item which determins your special upgrade. when you dont have a catalyst your upgrade will be completely random.

 

 

When you put 2 force core in the core slot you will have a 25% chance of having a level 2 upgrade. if your aiming for a level 2 upgrade dont bother putting a catalyst. level 2 upgrades are RANDOM. catalyst only determins level 1 upgrades (refer to the chart below for what catalyst gives specific upgrades)

With a catalys you will recive a specific upgrade. for my example i will be using a helm. acording to the chart if i use boots for my catalyst my helm will recive Defence rating UP +50(note: your catalyst should also be slotted)

 

Now Using 3 Force Cores: using a third force core only increces the success rate of your upgrade (yes it can fail) a third core dose not affect what upgrade you will have. you can also use an upgrade core for your third core.

The Force Core special enhancment chart. refer to this chart to know which catalyst you want to use on your level 1 upgrade. level 2 upgrades are RANDOM when you put 2 force cores. slotted items with amp upgrades are droped by boss monsters or from dungeon chests. Note: not all slotted items can have the same upgrade. weapons cannot have a +50hp gloves cannot have a +10 %critical damage etc. refer to the chart

 

Also. Enhancements on Two handed weapons i.e Great Swords and Daikatanas will recive double the upgrade of one handead weapons i.e two handead swords will recive +20% crit damege,+14% skill amp etc. because two heanded weapons will occuple both left and right weapon slots in your equipments. while one heandead weapons i.e blades, katanas, crystals and orbs will recive half. i.e one heanded weapons will get +10% crit damag, +7%skill amp etc. because you can equip one of each in your equipments slots i.e you can equip two blades with 7%skill amp each which will end up giving you 14%skill amp the same as the two handead weapons… gets?
